PEP/UA Fee Schedule & Descriptions
Fee schedule and descriptions for Community Christian Homeschoolers, Inc. are as follows.
All website payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Base Dues
$100 per family, per year
The membership fee allows students to participate in group-wide field trips and meetings as well as sign up for subgroups, clubs, and activities.
SUBGROUPS
General Membership
No fee
Topic: CCH-wide activities, a la carte
Meeting frequency: 1-2x/month
Ages: All ages
This group is eligible to participate in any and all CCH-wide activities (such as Book Bowl, Field Day, service projects, large-group field trips, meet-ups & park days, and moms' nights out), as well as participate in any subgroup field trips that are extended to all CCH membership.
Field Trip Subgroup
No fee
Topic: Varies for each field trip
Meeting frequency: 1-2x/month
Ages: Varies, but usually all ages
Monthly field trips in north-central Florida. Admission fees will vary depending on the location.
High School Social & Service
$5 per student, per year
Topic: Social and service opportunities for high school students
Meeting frequency: Approximately 2x/month
Ages: 9th-12th grade
This subgroup provides CCH high school-aged students opportunities for social events and service projects. Students may be eligible to earn volunteer hours by participating in the service projects. There may be fees for activity participation.
Middle School Hangouts & Service
$5 per student, per year
Topic: Social and service opportunities for middle school students
Meeting frequency: Approximately 1x/month
Ages: 6th-8th grade
This subgroup facilitates opportunities for 6th to 8th graders to get together and socialize through various activities. The goal is to help them form friendships with other kids in their age group. There may be fees for activity participation.
Painting, Poetry, & Etymology Subgroup
$45 per student, per year
Topic: Art, art history, poetry study and writing, etymology
Meeting frequency: Approximately 2x/month
Ages: 6th-12th grade
The painting class includes acrylic painting techniques and color theory, with some focus on historical works made using these techniques. Parents will be required to purchase a paint set for their student in addition to the subgroup fee. The poetry and etymology class teaches Greek & Latin word roots, American poetry appreciation with light analysis, student poetry production, class projects, and discussion. Parents will need to purchase one book for their student to use in class.
Summit Academic Subgroup
$150 per family, per year
Topic: Science, history, art, music, geography, writing, and other electives
Meeting frequency: Approximately 2x/month
Ages: K-12th grade
Summit Subgroup is an academic, parent-taught co-op providing interactive learning opportunities to support a variety of academic and elective courses. There are additional lab fees as follows: General Science $10, Physical Science $10, Biology $75, Chemistry $25.
CLUBS
Board Games Club
No fee
Grades: 6th-12th
Meeting schedule: 1x/month
Board Game Club will meet to play various board games to promote critical thinking, problem solving, communication, cooperation, and social skills.
Cheetah Cubs
$20 per family, per year
Grades: K-3rd
Meeting schedule: 2-3x/month
Cheetah Cubs will meet at local parks and focus on play, public speaking, nature/art, bike/skate/scooter, and water enjoyment.
Constitution Club
Workbook cost only
Grades: 8th-12th
Meeting schedule: Meets on Saturdays, September to December
This club will give you an overview of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the biblical ideas contained within these documents and the minds of the Founders. We will accomplish this by watching and discussing the Constitution Alive video series and utilizing the companion workbooks (free e-version, paperback $17.50, or spiral bound $22.50 - purchased as a group order after club signup).
Florida History Explorers Club
No fee
Grades: K-12th
Meeting schedule: 1x/month
This is a club focused on monthly field trips to different sites in the area to learn about Florida history. Admission cost will vary based on location.
Florida Springs Swimming & Hiking Club
$3 per student, per year
Grades: 2nd-12th
Meeting schedule: 1x/month
This club is to explore Florida’s springs. The predominant activity will be swimming; hiking will be arranged during the cooler months. Additional entrance fees will be paid directly to each location, with the exception of Hornsby Spring, which members will pay for through the CCH website.
Geocaching Club
No fee
Grades: K-12th
Meeting schedule: 1x/month, November to April
This club meets once a month to go geocaching, developing the skills of using a compass, critical thinking, and teamwork. There may be additional entrance fees for some locations. Students will need the geocaching app for meetings (free or premium version).
Photography Club
No fee
Grades: 6th-12th
Meeting schedule: 1-2x/month, January to May
Students learn composition, lighting techniques, photography types, and some history in photography, and will have the opportunity to showcase new skills. There may be an admission fee for some locations.
PE Club
$5 per student, per year
Grades: K-8th
Meeting schedule: 2x/month
PE Club allows students to come together to play a variety of sports and physical fitness activities, learning new skills, how to work as a team, and how to be a good sport in competitions.
Note: Field Day and PE Club are separate registrations.
Yearbook Club
No fee
Grades: 9th-12th
Meeting schedule: Will meet as needed throughout the school year
CCH Yearbook Club is responsible for collecting photos from all CCH events throughout the year and creating a yearbook. The students will be assigned sections of the yearbook to design.
Young Artists Club
$28 per student, per year
Grades: K-5th
Meeting schedule: 3x/month
This club is tailored to children in grades K-5 using Book 1 of the Artistic Pursuits curriculum. To celebrate our young artists' hard work and creativity, we will host an art show at the end of the year, allowing family and friends to appreciate their progress and achievements.
ACTIVITIES
Book Bowl
$5 per student
Grades: K-12th
Participants read a list of age-appropriate books and answer questions from the books in a competitive team atmosphere.
Field Day
$3 per student
Grades: K-8th
Field Day allows students to participate in friendly team competitions in a variety of outdoor sporting events.
High School Senior Recognition and Spring Formal

This activity allows high schoolers to recognize their graduating peers and celebrate the school year together.
Living History Museum
$3 per student
Grades: 3rd-8th
Participants choose a historical figure to research and present a display with their findings as well as dress up like the person.
Storybook Extravaganza
$5 per student
Grades: K-3rd
Participants read a book of their choice and present a display with literary and informational elements from their book as well as dress up as a character.
